Each artist can submit up to 6 pieces of artworks, anything from art & crafts, jewelry, mini sculptures, paintings, prints, photos etc...The size limit is 10 inches or less. The artworks can be free standing or ready to hang. This exhibition is open to any type of artist.

Something Different

Each artist will have a 40(L)x30(H) space to display
their artwork of choice. Artist's can have as many
pieces as you want as long as it doesn't go over the 40"
x 30" space. Make sure that each piece are ready to
hang and is less than 2 lbs. Also, please be sure to mail
in a picture/chart of how you want your pieces to be
displayed.

As APW starts off its new year in a new space, we would like to
also add some more new shows. One of these shows will be
our postcard show "A Postcard is Worth 1000 Words ". As you
may know the saying "A picture is worth 1000 words...", well
we'd like to incorporate that in a miniature size and see how
many "words" our artists postcard can write! This show will be
on 4" x 6" paper or may be a photograph. Artist can use any
medium. Each artist may submit up to 10 postcards.

This time we will be using skate decks as the medium. If you
have an old skate deck that you did years ago,or if you want to
try to custom a skate deck,this is a good chance. We will be
hosting a Custom Skate deck Contest. The winner will present a
Solo Exhibition in APW Gallery, so tell all your friends about it,
because I am sure the 200 spots will be gone quickly......

The Idea is similar to our Square foot show. Each artist can
submit up to 5 pieces,but instead of traditional canvas,we are
using something fun,Vinyl Records
If you are in the NYC Area,there are many places that sell them
for $1 or less. If you never done it before,well you should try it.
If you are not from NYC,I am sure you can purchase it on the
internet or a record store near you.

For the first exhibition at our new location, we decided to
present another World Of Imagination show. Last time it was
toys and this time it is paintings. Two thousand 12" x 12"
paintings to be precise. This will be the biggest square foot
show in NYC. The idea is to have artists from all over the world,
submit up to 5 pieces of 12" x 12" or 30cm x 30cm canvas.

For the first custom toy exhibition at our new location,we
decided to host a our first annual custom toy contest. If you don't
know what a custom toy is, you can go to: www.customtoylab.
com. If you have done a toy contest before,you know this is
very fun. This time we want to make it bigger and better,with a
Mega Munny as the Viewer's Choice Award. The Judges' Choice
Award will be a Solo Exhibition at APW Gallery. There will also
be many other awards. Each artist will be able to submit up to 3
toys.
